Movie Review : "Princess Diaries 2 : Royal Engagement"

Hello guys, now i have to review a movie for my next task. So, i decided to choose this movie. This movie's tittle is The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement from Walt Disney.

The Synopsis

Mia (Anne Hathaway), still coming to terms with her life as a princess, graduates from Princeton. She returns to Genovia, and her best friend, Lilly (Heather Matarazzo), goes with her. When they arrive, Mia's grandmother (Julie Andrews) informs her that Mia cannot become queen unless she is married within 30 days. Nicholas Devereaux (Chris Pine) is one of her top suitors, though he is more interested in the crown than Mia. But when Nicholas realizes he loves Mia, he decides not to pursue her. 

Suddenly, Mia and Nicholas Devereaux meet again at the dance party at the palace. Then, Mia knows about Nicholas’ self and background. Nicholas and his uncle had a plan to handle the kingdom of Genovia. But, Nicholas falling in love with Mia. The plan of Nicholas and his uncle is failed.   Nicholas Devereaux (Chris Pine) is one of her top suitors, though he is more interested in the crown than Mia. But when Nicholas realizes he loves Mia, he decides not to pursue her.

My Opinion About This Movie

This movie is interesting to watch by all ages. The plot of the story is easy to understand. The director show his fabulous skill in directing the movie to make the cast of the movie are attractive on their play.

Then, What does it means to be a princess?
Besides wearing tiaras and twin sets, dancing at ballsattracting fame and fortune simply for being beautiful?
Princess Mia is a person who very kind, cool, and have unpredictable behavior. She wants to make her country better with her own way. Although at first she could not understand why her grandmother chose her to be a queen. Moreover, she had to get married first before becoming a princess, you know, I think personally arranged marriage is not the best choice to determine the future of each of us, well even though some are agreed. Because she felt she had just graduated from her study and must be married first to be a princess when she returned to her country? Unbelievable

She also feels motivated when someone's trying to take the crown. That person is the uncle of Nicholas Devereaux. At first, Nicholas and his uncle worked together to seize the crown and the treasures of Princess Mia, but he realized that he loves Princess Mia and decided to quit his teamwork with his uncle to seize the treasures and kingdom.
 
Anyone who liked the first Princess Diaries movie will like this. It's sweet, it's funny, and there are gorgeous men and gorgeous clothes. I can watch it again and again and again, and not get tired of it! It's magic seems to last forever! Anne Hathaway plays a wonderful portrayal of Princess Mia, and her performance is never unsatisfactory. I also love all movies which played by Anne Hathaway.

So, Princess Diaries 2 : Royal Engagement is give many moral value to who watch this movie, such as Mia do not want to give up to learn something because of her responsibility to herself and the Kingdom of Genovia.

I extremely recommend to you to watch this movie. Especially for girls, this movie really kind a girl favorite movie who love everything about Prince and Princess or The king and The Queen. You will love the film as i love this film so much.

Prayer Five Times

Everyone must be have a precious moment in their life. A moment that can change their life. Now I have one that I want to tell to my dear readers. Who may be able to open the hearts of all readers.  Hehe..

Actually I get more and more of my precious moments. Although I'm nineteen years old now I can’t remember many beautiful moments that I get. I also can’t recall memories about the people I have known in my life. But one thing I can remember very well is the moment that really changed my life. Since that time, I have different activities that makes me really can’t leave the activity and becomes really a good habit.

It called ‘pray’ or Sholat . I am a Muslim. When I’m seventeen years old. My senior high school held a national exam to determine our graduation. All of students were required to take the National Exam, of course. The moments before the National Exam, around for two or three months, we all required to pray ‘duha’ (Sholat duha) about 9 to 10 o’clock. I also always prayer five time are Subuh, Dzuhur, Ashar, Isya, Maghrib, and Isya. At that time, I don’t know why I also frequently to do the prayer five times. Because I think it was really not completed if I didn’t do that. A habit that has a goal to always pray for given the ease of the National Exam. I also always fulfill the obligations of the prayer five times. Until I realized about ‘Why just when I want to face a hardship when I ask for the ease with my God?’ You know, most of the teenagers on these days are not always to do prayer five times, to do they obligation as a Muslim, including me.

Previously, I’m honestly very lazy to do it. I know it was wrong. I really don’t know about the obligation, a must as a Muslim. Since that time, now I realized, I’m not a kids anymore which not understand how important a prayer five times is. I have been grown right now and my soul already grows as I get older. Thus, now I decided that I won’t leaving my obligation to always prayer five times, while it is difficult situation or not I should always be obliged to do.

It was my precious moment that I think changed my life. Hope you guys understand and love my story.

My Inspiring Person

Taylor Alison Swift is a country/pop singer-songwriter and actress from America. She was born on December 13, 1989, in Reading, Pennsylvania. She was great in vocals and expert in guitar, banjo, okulele and piano. She started crafting songs at age 5 and at age 16, released her debut album. The famous hits when she come up in the music world is "Love Story" and "You Belong With Me" make her great success of her albums, with Fearless the 2009 top-seller. She has won many awards, including several Grammy Awards, and modeled for Cover Girl.

A great success with many albums and new songs have sprung up and making herself became very famous. A lot of people especially women becoming  fans to support her and even haters. She is very dear to her fans as well as the haters. For example, in 2014 with the release of her new album 1989 and she decided to make it an even better year by including her fans. Whether they are a fan of her music or not, there is no doubt that Taylor has the title of being the celebrity that is the best to his/her fans. Taylor invited 89 fans from each location (New York, Nashville, Los Angeles, Rhode Island, and London) to join her at her home and listen to her entire new album before it was released. She baked cookies for them, posed for Polaroid pictures, and even let them play with her cats and hold her awards. She makes exclusive listening parties for her fans and sending fans packages full of amazing holiday gifts. It was amazing, wasn’t it? And there is much more about the action itself that provides special service to her fans.

The songs that she created giving access to haters to hate her. Many songs was made intended to her ex-boyfriend. Such as, Back to December, Dear John, Last Kiss, and Forever & Always. One of the song that really ‘touching’ to haters is ‘Shake It Off’ which dedicated for her ex and her haters. That song related about ‘ignoring your haters and staying true to yourself!’ Wow love it! Taylor’s fans seemed so excited about her new song as they all danced along with her and to shows the haters.

I love everything about her life, such as, she is so friendly with all of her fans, she also very care about the world. She made a huge donation in the amount of $50,000 to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Great, isn’t it?
 

"If You're lucky enough to be different from everyone else don't change"

Everyone or everybody admire Taylor Swift for being a great singer. Her heart and mind always speak to help others by showing sympathy to them by giving them hope in their lives. Many artists today doesn't know how to show compassion to others. They just know they are great singer or a great actress nothing more. But Taylor Swift is different. She is one of a kind. She has a good way to connect with the people around her. I just hope that every artist or every singer have a good heart like her. She deserve get the love by all her fans and all the people around the world who loved her because of all her deeds.

The statement that she said about ‘ignoring your haters and staying true to yourself!’ it was really cool I think because it’s true for young people like us. We must be ever got the bullying in high school or other, and also many people hate us and being haters. With that motion we have to be brave and better to do something cool and tell them (haters) that we are live or we wake up every day not to impress them. But to make a great live to ourselves. The motion that she said also to prove them that if they are get jealous with our live it means we are above them.

Wi-Fi “Fever”

   Nowadays, Wi-Fi network is one of the world’s most popular network technologies. Wi-Fi connections support millions of people in home, business, and public locations around the world. According to webopedia, Wi-Fi is the name of a popular wireless networking technology that uses radio waves to provide wireless high speed internet and network connections. Many of companies, schools, and colleges using the Wi-Fi facility as the needs of employees and students. Jenderal Soedirman University use this facility as a complement to the students, and also a lecturer to help them in the process of learning and teaching. However, many of students in FIB (Fakultas Ilmu Budaya) use this facility in wrong way.

   They are abusing this facility when a lecture hours to open social media sites in terms of personal interest and abuse on IP address for personal gain such as downloading games or movies which have big size of network data continuously. They are forgot about the time, and place. Although in any holiday they will come to the campus to use the Wi-Fi networks. Usually, some of them choose the place to connect their Wi-Fi in the gazebo. “They come to the campus everyday just to use the free Wi-Fi networks, they forget about the day and the night”, Taufik, the student of English Literature said. Larasati, the student of English Diploma also said that they must be not only looking for their task, because they use all day long until night is coming..

   According to yunda.wordpress.com, internet abuse facts reveal is the easy access to pornography sites. Though it has made the anti-pornography law nonetheless but still many internet users who access the site that smelled of pornography. Some of student FIB also said that they are quietly use the Wi-Fi connections to upload something like that.

   Therefore, Kompas Healthy (24 November 2014) said that radiation of Wi-Fi which is not too high could cause headaches, lethargy, queasy, and difficulty breathing, even paralysis. Results of research of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine in 2010 also states that the Wi-Fi signal is significantly also can interfere with brain activity in young women.

A Beautiful Secret Garden

On the last holiday, I planned to have a date with my friend. He picked me up from his home to my home by motorcycle. His home is far from mine. When he arrived, we were doubt about where we would go. Actually, we had a planned but we didn’t know the destination we would visit. Then we discussed about that. We decided to go to secret garden which located in Sumarecon Mall Bekasi. We were curious about that place because a lot of people talked about that.

When we arrived, we were sightseeing for a while. Then we asked to the officer where the place of Secret Garden. He said that Secret Garden placed on 2^nd floor. We bought ticket for us to enter the Secret Garden. The price of the ticket was Rp 20.000 per-person. We enter the Secret Garden curiously. 

In the first room, we saw many neon trees and animals. There are deers, girrafes, and the most beautiful bridge with beautiful lights. We took many pictures, and we were happy because we haven’t go the place like this before.

The most frightened feelings, when we were entering a maze that ultraviolet light is used. It was dark inside. When we staring on each other, we saw people skin being black and their teeth becoming flamed. We hard to find way back. We trying hard not only once but we were not giving up to find the right way to exit the maze until we finally found it.

The next room is laser room. We must pass the trap from the laser but if we got caught by them, then we failed to exit the room and have to repeated again until we success. Fortunately we passed the trap with once attempt. Then we success for all of obstacles and exit the Secret Garden.

We thought that the place was very awesome and we were very happy. The place made our feelings very unexplained. The feeling of fear mixed with curious. We were very pleased having seen the beauty of the variety of lights which set up so amazing.
